Precision laser cutting machine is an advanced device that uses high-energy-density laser beams to achieve material cutting. Its core principle is to generate a beam of a specific wavelength through a laser generator, and after focusing through an optical system, a very small spot is formed on the surface of the material, causing the material to partially melt or vaporize, and coaxial gas is used to blow away the residue to form a precise cutting trajectory.
The core of the precision laser cutting machine consists of four major systems: laser light source, optical system, motion control and cutting head. The light source includes optical fiber (metal sheet cutting), CO₂ (non-metallic materials), and solid laser (precision microelectronics); the optical system ensures high-precision focusing of the beam; the motion control system achieves ultra-high positioning accuracy; the cutting head combines auxiliary gas to optimize the cutting effect.
Its advantages are significant: first, the precision reaches micron level, which is suitable for micro-hole and complex contour processing; second, it is highly efficient, with a thin plate cutting speed of several meters per minute and no tool change required; third, non-contact processing to avoid material deformation, suitable for brittle/flexible materials; fourth, wide material adaptability, covering metals (stainless steel, titanium alloy) and non-metals (acrylic, silicon wafers); fifth, it supports CAD/CAM docking and intelligent sensing to improve the level of automation.
