What is a laser?

Laser is another major invention of mankind after nuclear energy, computer and semiconductor since the 20th century. It is called “the fastest knife”, “the most accurate ruler” and “the brightest light”. The English name Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation means “light amplification by stimulated emission”. The full English name of the laser has fully expressed the main process of manufacturing the laser. The principle of laser light was discovered by the famous Jewish physicist Albert Einstein as early as 1916.
The light emitted by the atomic stimulated emission, hence the name “laser”: the electrons in the atom absorb energy and then jump from a low energy level to a high energy level, and then fall back from a high energy level to a low energy level, the released energy is released in the form of photons. The photon beam (laser) that is induced (excited) has highly consistent optical properties of photons. Therefore, compared with ordinary light sources, the laser has better monochromaticity, better directionality and higher brightness.

Lasers are widely used in laser marking, laser welding, laser cutting, optical fiber communication, laser ranging, laser radar, laser weapons, laser discs, laser vision correction, laser beauty, laser scanning, laser mosquito killer, LIF non-destructive testing technology, etc. Laser systems can be divided into continuous wave lasers and pulsed lasers.

How to solve the problem of laser marking machine?

1. Whether the laser resonator changes; Fine tune the resonator lens. Make the output light spot best;
2. The acoustooptic crystal is offset or the output energy of acoustooptic power supply is low; Adjust the position of acoustooptic crystal or increase the working current of acoustooptic power supply;
3. The laser entering the galvanometer deviates from the center: adjust the laser;
4. If the current is adjusted to about 20a and the sensitivity is still not strong enough: the krypton lamp is aging, replace it with a new lamp.
